Transactional email

Send unique codes through your transactional email provider

Coupon Carrier assigns the code, voucher link, QR code, or barcode before your email goes out. Mandrill works today. If you use SendGrid, Mailgun, or another provider, tell us what you need.

The problem

Your email provider sends the message. It usually does not know which code to give someone.

Mandrill, SendGrid, Mailgun, and similar tools are built for delivery. Code pools, one-code-per-recipient rules, issued voucher records, and in-person redemption are a different job.

That is where Coupon Carrier fits. Your email system sends the message. Coupon Carrier picks the unique code, Redeem Link, QR code, or barcode value.

How it works

Let your provider send. Let Coupon Carrier pick the code.

1

Something triggers the email

A signup, purchase, form, app event, or workflow starts the process.
2

Coupon Carrier picks the value

We assign a code, create a voucher link, or prepare a QR/barcode value.
3

Your provider sends it

Mandrill or another transactional email tool sends your template.
4

The recipient gets one offer

The email includes a unique code, QR voucher, barcode, or Redeem Link.
5

Staff can redeem it

For in-person offers, staff can scan the voucher or mark it as used.

What you can send

The format can change by campaign, but the assignment rule stays the same: one recipient, one value.

Unique coupon codes

Give each recipient a code from an imported list or connected code source.

Single-use voucher links

Send a hosted voucher page that only works once.

QR codes

Let recipients show a scannable voucher on their phone.

Barcodes

Pass a barcode image URL into the email template.

Printable voucher links

Send a voucher link the recipient can open, save, or print.

Provider options

Mandrill is supported today. SendGrid and Mailgun are the next providers people ask about most. For custom systems, we can usually talk through an API or Zapier route.
